[0:00] Hey guys and gals, welcome to my YouTube channel. In this short video, I'm going to show you how you can go back to revert a workflow inside of your Alpha Blossom CRM or your Highlevel account. So, if you have a workflow and you need to go back to an earlier version, I'm going to show you how you can restore that earlier version, which can save you a lot of time instead of having to go back and try to troubleshoot. So, in my case, I had a version that was working. I made some changes and then Highlevel updated something that broke that. So, I was able to quickly just go back to a previous version that was working and just publish that one and then back in business. So, let's jump into it. Before we do, if you haven't already subscribed to my channel, click that subscribe button down below. If you're new to High Level or you just want to learn more, I've got a link to my free group down below in the comments as well. So, love to have you over there and support you. And then also, we've got some of our affiliate links down below. So if you join high level or if you upgrade using my link, I'll be happy to support you and share our resources and things with you as well. So let's jump into it and I'll see you on the other side.

[1:05] In this video, I'm going to show you how you can revert one of your automations or your workflows to a previous version. So we have this workflow that works when we get a new review. It's going to automatically increase the count of the review and then we can update a custom value that we use on the website, emails and things like that so that whenever someone comes and sees it, it shows an accurate and updated review count matched with our Google business profile.

[1:39] So, what happened was we had this workflow trigger and I was really certain that they changed the trigger or there was a new trigger that made it not contact dependent, but this one says when contacts get added to the workflow. So, I don't know if they removed that, but it's no longer working like it was. So, the previous version, I had it tied to a contact, which was myself inside of the sub account, and it would just verify that I existed, and if it did, then it would add the count.

[2:28] And so, basically, this workflow needs to have a contact in here in order to work. It doesn't matter if the contact is matched with the review or not. So, when I deleted that, it broke the flow. It worked for a little while, but the developers changed something. So, I need to go back to an earlier version. So, if you come over to the left, you can see there's a version history here. You can also do a shortcut, which is the arrow and the V. And then I can come in here and just click on these and view the earlier versions. And so, you can see here I've got two versions. Version 14 is what we're looking at here. Newer view received. And version 13 has my contact check here. And this is the version that was working. So, I'm just going to come back here and going to let's see. It says you cannot restore published workflows. So, let me see if what happens if I unpublish this first and then let's see if I can do that. Otherwise, I'm going to have to just clone it. So, let's save that. Okay, so we saved that. So, now let's come back and look at this version. And then we're going to restore this version.

[3:05] So, we restore that version 13. It's restored. And now we're going to publish this again. And then now we're good. So, let's just make sure everything is good. When a new Google review is received and it's coming from Google, we're just going to check if this contact exists, which is me. If it's found, then it's going to update our custom value. It's going to add one to our custom value, and then it's just going to remove from the workflow. If it's not found, it just ends. So, if for some reason it doesn't find me, it's going to end. But, as long as I don't delete my contact, this workflow will work. And so that's kind of a workaround that's going to allow me to use this trigger which needs to have a contact in order to work. Yeah. So that's how you can restore a previous version of your workflow just over here in your version history. You can go back all the way to the very beginning.
